Long time Ukiah resident, Lorenzo Anzilotti passed away January 22, 2015 at home at the age of 88. He was born in Pescia, Tuscany, Italy, July 22, 1926 to Primo and Dina Amelia Anzilotti. One of 6 children. He is survived by his second wife, Maria De Lourdes Anzilotti, his three children, son, Jose Primo Anzilotti and wife, Wendy of Alaska, daughters, Edila Dimock and daughter Anna Noble and husband Erin of Santa Rosa. Eleven grandchildren, Heidi, Dante, Elizabeth, Carolina, Emily, Jennifer and Giuseppe Anzilotti, Miranda and Benjamin Lampson, Dalen Anzilotti, and Chili Dimock and his beloved dog, Lily. Proceeded in death by his son Eduardo, and his daughter, Silvana. Also survived by extended family, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews
He loved his family, his passions were mushroom hunting, fishing, good food, cooking, watching soccer, and always loved a beautiful sunny day. He enjoyed sharing knowledge and stories with friends and family. His strong opinions and great sense of humor will be truly missed.
He immigrated to Brazil after WWII and 1968 came to the United States to Ukiah, and this became his home. Often saying it reminded him of his birthplace.
He fought as a partisan In WWII in Italy, and worked as a electrician in VW in Brazil and was a electrician for GP and LP in Ukiah.
The family is respecting Lorenzo's wishes of no formal services.
