Belen Medalla Alcasid

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be said for Belen Medalla Alcasid of Ukiah on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ukiah Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary.
Born February 20, 1929 in the Philippines, Belen has resided in the Ukiah area since 1980. She was proud of the loving care she was able to provide to the elderly.
Belen is survived by her daughter Myrna DeCastro and husband Rey, son Eliseo Alcasid Jr and wife Abah, sisters Carmen Rome, Nelia Anderson and Lourdes DelaCruz, grandchildren Cristina Alcasid, Elain, Monic and Kaye DeCastro and great grandchildren Laila and Tatiana.
Memorial contributions to Ukiah Hospice are preferred by the family.
Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
