)
Resident of

Obituary:
Greta Lisa Alexander, 62 passed away peacefully in her home December 16, 2014 with her family
by her side. Greta was born March 29, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA. She met and married her husband
Larry Alexander in Southern California over 40 years ago. Their life eventually brought them to
Ukiah where they have resided for 17 years and Greta retired from the county of Mendocino where
she worked as an Account Specialist.
Greta's most rewarding accomplishments were those spent raising her children, adventures with
her husband and ultimately being a grandmother. She was proud of her work ethic and ability to
learn in all types of situations. Greta loved to travel almost anywhere; across the United States,
Hawaii, Mexico and family tradition, Yellowstone National Park to name a few destinations. She
was always happy to share new experiences she enjoyed with others and make people laugh. She had a love for learning and the variety of topics was endless.
Her family believes she'll be remembered for maintaining long term friendships and love of
people, for her honesty and frankness and mostly her ability to live life to the fullest with amazing
enthusiasm. Thank you to all who stood by her in life and those that helped care for her and visit
her in recent weeks. Greta is survived by her husband, Larry Alexander, daughters Lori Alexander
and Lisa Alexander, sister Joan Henry, brothers Ken Livingston and Greg Loera, grandchildren Reagan
Frost and Zephyr Alexander and several nieces and nephews. Greta is predeceased by her Father,
Gregory Loera and brother, Joseph Ammann.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Eversole Mortuary.
