Obituary:
Peter Jackson Allen passed away March 21 in Petaluma, California. Born on March 11, 1961 to Lawrence M. and Jane G. Allen. He was a Native American Pomo Indian who lived his entire life in Ukiah California. He attended Yokayo Elementary, Redwood Valley Jr. High and Ukiah High School. He spent some time working as a security guard for Ukiah Valley Medical Center. Self taught Peter spent most of his life working on cars and was one of the best mechanics around. Peter’s many talents also include handyman work, gardening and cooking. One of his favorite hobbies was taking his brothers and nephew to Nascar Races. His love for life, family, friends, his cats, dogs, made it extremely difficult for him to say no, when asked to help. Always giving food and shelter to the less fortunate and the shirt off his back if need be. When informed of Peter’s death a friend said, “I don’t feel sorry for Peter, I feel sorry for all the people who never got a chance to meet him.” Yes, he will be loved and missed by his family and friends more than words can say. Peter was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Allen, his mother Jane Allen, his brother Paul Wayne Allen and niece Jeannette Moss. He is survived by his sisters Martha Knight, Sandra Avila, Jeanne Sue Allen-Moss and Yolanda Tadeo and husband Arculano Tadeo. His brothers Robert, Donald, and Richard Allen all of Ukiah. He leaves his nephews Tom, Scott, and Brice Knight and Larry Joe, Justin, and Andrew Allen his nieces Kathleen Knight, Venus Hoaglen, Jennifer Valadao, Caprice Zwetsloot, Mollie Moss and Lacretia Tadeo and seventeen great nieces and nephews.
A Rosary service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 6pm at the Eversole Mortuary. A Funeral service will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Eversole Mortuary at 10am, burial will follow at the Pinoleville Cemetery.
