Sharon Almeida (Barrett) of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on August 17, 2010 at the age of 64. She lived in the Ukiah area for 37 years and recently moved to Nampa, Id. She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Almeida of 43 years; daughters Stacey Waller (David) and Sandi Butterfield (Brad); grandchildren Meagan and Dylan Waller and Alex and Carson Butterfield; sister Patricia DeFrates; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Helen Barrett, twin sister Carole Abbott and brother Fredrick Barrett.

Sharon had a passion for music and quilting. She was most proud of her quilting business “Sharin Stitches and Strokes” which she ran for 10 years with her husband.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Saturday August 28, 2010 at 1pm at the Elks Lodge located at 1200 Hastings Road in Ukiah, California.
