Angelina Marie “Ang” Gutierrez 

Angelina was born on May 10,1982 to Himan and Carla Gutierrez. Angelina unexpectedly passed away on July 13, 2024 at her home in Redwood Valley Ca. 

She is survived by her children Marilena, Isabel, Ricky, and Estella Nunez. Grandchildren Mateo, Martel, Mayeli and Aniyah. Siblings Consuelo, Carlos, Florenda, Gloria and Jaime. Numerous nieces, nephews, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and friends, who she loved and adored. Ang had a huge loving heart. She was extremely talented. She loved to party plan, cook, bead, sew, listen to loud music and take care of children. Ang’s generous heart touched many. She was a jack of all trades and master at loving and caring for her family. Angelina’s soul shined so bright her smile lit up any room she walked into. Her contagious laugh was one of a kind. She enjoyed days with her family and trips to the casino’s. 

Angelina was a Tribal Member from The Redwood Valley Little River Band of Pomo Indians. She was a Traditional Pomo Dancer and Singer with The Northern Pomo Dancers. Ang took pride in her Pomo culture and made many Pomo dresses for the girls to dance in. 

She was predeceased by her loving parents Himan & Carla Gutierrez. Brother Leandro Gutierrez. 

A service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 3:00PM. A wake will take place at The Carla Gutierrez Learning Center at 3250 Road I, building B Redwood Valley, Ca 95470. Funeral Services on July 22, 2024 at 2:30PM to 5PM at RVR building B. Reception will be a pot luck at 6PM.
