Joseph "Joe" Preston Ault was born on December 5, 1950 in Fresno, California and entered into rest on September 5, 2014 at his home in Redwood Valley, California.
Living in Redwood Valley for the last 32 years Joe could often be found at The Gun Club, fishing at Lake Mendocino, and running with friends both on a recreational and competitive level. He was very proud to have been a member of the Board of Directors of the Ukiah Valley Association for Habilitation for twelve years and for having served as President and Treasurer. Joe enjoyed his 32 year career in the finance business with Wells Fargo Bank and retired from Beneficial Finance after 27 years.
Joe is survived by his wife Kathy, sons Scott (Andrea) and Tim (Danielle), grandsons Tyler and Dylan, granddaughters Téa and Dalila, sister Lynne Lear, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews. He is also preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Renee Ault of Davis, California.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Eversole Mortuary. Interment will be in Ukiah Cemetery.
