Obituary:
Beatrice “Janet” Baarsch, 83, of Ukiah passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at home with her family. Janet was born July 19, 1934 in Ohio, and lived in Ukiah for the past 43 years. She cherished her family, friends, and her many travels with them. She enjoyed being a long time member in a pinochle club and a TOPS group. She was an excellent knitter and loved reading and playing games (especially cards and bingo). Janet’s baby blanket/sweater sets and afghans will be long enjoyed by many families.
Janet is survived by her son, Keith Baarsch, daughters Karen Yoast and Tami Baarsch Bogart, brothers George Turner and Gary Turner, as well as 9 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Donald Baarsch and her parents Ed & Bea Turner.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Club Calpella at 3:00 PM.
