Obituary:
A Celebration of Life will be held for Dan Bailey of Redwood Valley on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at 640 Ellen Lynn St. in Redwood Valley. Dan passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at UVMC with his family by his side.
Born October 26, 1940 in Michigan, Dan has resided in the area for the past 30 years. He was a career mechanic, painter and printer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, family gatherings and community services. Dan was proud of his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchild. He will be remembered for being a compassionate and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He would do anything for anybody and he did. He cared for several foster children. He loved God and was a very spiritual man.
Dan is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Earlene Bailey, daughters Kathy Augsbury and husband Ken, Donna Burton and husband Todd, son Robert Robinson, grandchildren Sarah Reeser and husband Isaac, Kyle Bailey, Amanda Burton, Justin Marsh and great granddaughter Kaylie Ray Reeser.
