Obituary:
Betty passed away peacefully with her sons by her side on January 13 at her home in Windsor, CA.
She leaves sons Kevin Baldwin (Kitti Houston) of Ukiah and Kyle Baldwin (Ava) of Long Beach, CA. She leaves grandson Tyler Gayski (Kylee) and great granddaughters Malea, Jaysea, and Teagan, all of Lincoln CA, and grandchildren Brett Baldwin of San Antonio TX, Kate Baldwin, of Tempe, AZ, and Blake Baldwin of Long Beach, CA.
She is also survived by her sisters Donna Mayfield (Bill) of Ukiah and Jacqueline Walton (Milford) of Santa Rosa. She leaves many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews as well.
Betty was born in Aurora, MO to Fred and Faye Dye, and moved with her parents to Ukiah as a child. She graduated from Ukiah High in 1948. Her favorite jobs were as office manager for Arnold Bogners Mendocino Van and Storage, and later at Mendo Mill as an accounts specialist.
Betty was married to Larry Baldwin from 1953 until his passing in 2002. She will be remembered for her steadfast dedication to her sons, grandchildren, and extended family members, her easy laugh, and her joyful generosity to everyone at Christmas and birthdays.
The family would like to thank the owners and staff of the Lighthouse Care Home in Windsor and Dr. Wagner and the nurses of St. Joseph Hospice in Santa Rosa for their loving care of Betty for the past 2 years.
There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Eversole Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County, 9700 Uva Drive, Redwood Valley, CA 95470.
