Memorial services will be held at a later date for Roy T. Beck of Redwood Valley who passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at a local hospital.
Born November 28, 1930 in Ukiah, Roy moved away after high school residing in Southern California for many years before returning to Redwood Valley upon his retirement. Roy served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed reading and writing for club papers. He published newsletters and technical publications within his industry. He taught his own Civil Engineering classes teaching students how to take tests for their professional licensing. He was a member of I.E.E.E. and the local Historical Society.
Roy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Beck of Redwood Valley and by his brother Clark Beck of Saratoga, California.
