Bertha Ann Berlin
Graveside services for Bertha Ann Berlin of Ukiah will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Ukiah Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 12 to 5 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary. Bertha passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 with her family by her side.
Born July 31, 1926 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, she was the youngest of eleven children. Bertha has lived in Ukiah for the past 53 years. She was a waitress at Big Oak and then a carpet weaver at Carousel Carpets. She will be remembered for having such a wonderful, kind heart, always caring and welcoming with such a warm smile. She will be missed most of all as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother as family was what mattered most.
Bertha is survived by her daughters Jan Holstine and Lisa Holstine, grandchildren Ashley Estrada and husband Martin Estrada and Jeremy Ruddock, great grandchildren Zavion and Jevan Estrada. She was preceded in death by her parents Cora and Marion Champlain, brothers Warren, Harry, Lenard and Edward, sisters Nellie, Laura, Opal, Elizabeth, Martha and Rose.
Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
