Obituary:
Robert (Bob) J. Bivin passed away December 19th at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital due to an unexpected illness at the age of 74.
Bob was born in Morton, Washington and later moved to Ukiah where he has been a resident for the past 58 years. He worked many years in the lumber industry, and later owned and operated B & J Recycling. Bob will be remembered for his lively sense of humor, and tough exterior that hid a true heart of gold known by many. Bob was preceded in death by his parents June and Joseph Bivin. He is survived by five sons; Robert Bivin Jr and wife Renee, William Bivin and wife Diana, Dudley Bivin, Jerry Bivin, Charles Bivin; Sister, Deanna Lynch and husband James Lynch; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives throughout California and Washington.
Bob will be cremated at Eversole Mortuary with private memorial services to follow at a later date.
