Catherine Caroline Shanahan Bowman passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010. Catherine was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 4, 1918; she lived in Laytonville, Ca. for 76 years.
Catherine was a wife, mother, housewife and a telephone operator. She was most proud of her family. Catherine once won a new car for selling the most newspaper subscriptions to the Ukiah Redwood Journal.
Catherine leaves her husband of 73 years Richard “Bud” Bowman, daughter Martha Bowman, sons Norman Bowman and Andrew Bowman, grandchildren Michele Bowman, Ashlee Bowman, Brody Bowman, Deon Hunter, Lisa Daly, Lori Colburn and five great grandchildren.
At Catherine’s request no services will be held.
