Obituary:
Thurston “Stoney” Bray passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Fort Bragg at the age of 80. Stoney was born July 24, 1937 in Checotah, Ok.
Stoney lived and worked in Hopland for 38 years on the McDowell Ranch, he loved working on the ranch. For the past 14 years he lived in Fort Bragg. Stoney will be remembered as a loving husband and grandfather.
Stoney is survived by his wife Patty Jo Bray, daughters Shelly Lucchetti and her husband Tony, Diane Snodgrass and her husband David, step-daughter Diane Lucchetti and her husband Frank, sons Terry Bray and his wife Tammy, Rodney Bray and his wife Shelly, step-son Steve Lynch and his wife Stacie, sister Willie Gradey and her husband Don, brother Charlie Bray and his wife Zooan. Stoney is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. His brother F.C. Bray passed away a few days after Stoney.
No services will be held.
