George Robert Brittain, Sr.
Private services are to be held for George Robert Brittain Sr. of Ukiah who passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 with his family by his side. Born June 16, 1923 in San Jacinto, California, George served in the Marine Corps in WWII from 1943 – 1945. He has resided in Ukiah for the past 3 years. George is survived by his daughter Diane Moratti of Willits, sons George R. Brittain, Jr. of Ukiah and Ronald R. Brittain of Ukiah, brother Richard Brittain, sister Janet Condon, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 66 years, Helen Margaret Brittain in May 2013.
