Obituary:
Donald V. Brown passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on March 5, 2018, at the age of 75 years. He was born in February 1943 to Vernon and Cecilia (Wokasch) Brown. A native of International Falls, MN. In 1965, he began his 33 year long career with Masonite Corp in Ukiah, CA. He will be remembered for his love of his family and friends. He loved the outdoors. He was a man with so many hobbies. He enjoyed woodworking, photography, computers, clocks, tractors, trains and cars. He is preceded by his parents and he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol (Mathews), son Cory Brown of Willits, CA and daughter Carmen Harris of Ukiah, CA (Dana), his grandchildren: Kati Harris, Brooke Harris, Tristin Hunt, Paige Brown and Jack Brown and one great-grandchild, Mateo Ortiz. Also survived by his brother Ralph (Roberta) Brown, his nephews Shawn and Ben. close cousin, Kathleen Moody of Redwood Valley, CA and numerous cousins. A Celebration of Don's life will be held at 12:00 to 4 on Saturday, April 14 st, at the Lion's Park in Redwood Valley. Please bring a dish and a memory to share.
