A Rosary will be held on Friday June 10, 2011 beginning at 8:00 PM at The Eversole Mortuary. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday June 11, 2011 beginning at 2:00 PM at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Arrangements under the care of The Eversole Mortuary.
Obituary:
Leonard M. Brown, died at his home in Ukiah, with his family by his side, on Monday June 6, 2011. Leonard was an Outside Plant Engineer for 32 years, a resident of Ukiah for 20 years. He was a veteran of the US Army, being awarded the Purple Heart, for his service in Korea. He was most proud of raising his three children by himself. He will be remembered for his love of family and animals. His favorite quote was “pffft”! He very much loved to go to South Lake Tahoe and sailing in Maui, Hawaii.
Leonard is survived by his wife Eleanor “Ellie” Brown, daughters Debbie (Ron) Berube, Brenda Brown (Alan Proudfoot), son Steve (Rita) Brown, brother Delbert (Thelma) Brown, grandchildren Jason Berube, Ty Gutierrez, Cheriee Brown, Megan Bruno, Todd Brown and one great-granddaughter “on the way”. He is predeceased by his brothers Ernest (Myra) Brown and Eldon (Lillian) Brown and his parents Arthur Alfred & Hazel Fern Brown.
