Obituary:
Harold R. Burbery, 88, a long time Ukiah resident passed away April 3, 2014 at his home with his family present. Harold was born May 9, 1925 in Loomis, Wa.
Harold worked in construction building dams and roads. After retirement he and his wife traveled extensively around the country.
Harold was very proud of his family. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners, working tirelessly for the Shriners Hospital. He served his country in the Navy during WWII.
His family will remember Harold’s kindness to everyone.
Harold is survived by his wife of 65 years Mary Burbery of Ukiah, daughter Martha Douglass of Oroville, Ca. sister Joy Workman and husband Buck of Okanogan, Wa., brothers John Burbery, Lloyd Burbery and wife Barbara, Chuck Burbery and wife Vickie all of Tonasket, Wa. grandchildren Stephanie and husband Bradley, Fridrich, Mary, Beth Douglass, all of Oroville, Ca. and 2 great grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Lula Burbery and two sisters.
Harold will be inurned in Memorial Park Cemetery in Oroville, Ca.
Memorial donations in Harold’s name may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital 2425 Stockton Blvd. Sacramento, Ca. 95817
