Obituary:
Edgar Dye Cake a certified master craftsman, commercial artist, gentle humorist, civic minded, Christian and loving loyal friend, passed away January 18, 2016.
Ed was born in Healdsburg Ca , son of Homer J. Cake and Minnie Branson Cake (with family roots of Ferguson & Mc Minn). Ed served in World War ii as a U.S. Navy Sea Bee. His homes have been in Sonoma & Mendocino counties. Living in Ukiah over 80 yrs.
Ed is survived by his only spouse Joan and by his son, Dr. Chris Cake and Chris wife, Yvonne, & their daughter, Emily and Courtney Cake, By his lovely daughter, Claire Kelley and Clair's husband, Robert Kelley & their son, Shawn, & daughter Megan, and by his cousin-in-law, Inez Cake, He is also survived by numerous cherished Nieces & Nephews.
The remembrance of Ed will be on Saturday, February 6th at home from 1 to 5 PM
