Camille (Kim) Elizabeth (Remick/Keating) Dentry, 84, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, in Ukiah, California, with her daughter Kathy by her side.
Born on January 21, 1938 in Ellsworth, Maine, Camille was preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Barbara C. Remick, her brother John D. Remick and daughter, Denise M. Keating.
She is survived by her children, William J. Keating, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; Kathy L. Howell of Ukiah, California; Timothy A. Keating of Jacksonville, Florida and Lisa A. Allen and her husband Mark D. Allen, of Maiden, North Carolina. She has 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Camille lived in Newark, Delaware until moving to Baltimore, Maryland where she became a Baltimore City Police Officer. After her marriage to John Dentry, they moved to Jacksonville, Florida where John was stationed at Mayport Navel Station. After leaving Florida, she moved to New Orleans, Louisana where she worked as a security guard. She returned to Florida for a short time, then moved to Oxnard, California where she lived and worked for several years before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. She lived in Las Vegas for the past 35 years, working as a security guard in various casinos until she retired. She moved to Ukiah, California in January 2023.
Final arrangements were handled by Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah, California.
