Memorial services for Lois Marion Camotta of Ukiah will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 1 pm at the Eversole Mortuary, Tim Eberhart officiating. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Lois passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 surrounded by her family.
Born April 21, 1922 in Martinez, Lois graduated high school, worked as a nurse and also ran three convalescent homes in Vallejo, California. She liked and went to Oakland A’s baseball games, did ceramics and Tri Chem Paintings. She was proud of her family and will be remembered for her love for her family and friends.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sandra Marie and Dale Thornton of Ukiah, sister Vivian Lisa of Pittsburg, CA, grandchildren Matthew Allen Cameron, Laura Cameron, Jeffrey Allen Cameron, Dennis Thornton, great grandchild Taylor Alexis Cameron, nieces Mona Lisa, Debra Mason, Donna Lisa, Gloria Ellis, Bunny Schmidth, nephews David and Butch Azevedo. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Louis William Camotta, parents Ethel and Russell Davis and brother Clyde Russell Davis.
