Orian (Orie) Carpenter
Born Sept 23, 1930 to Lyle and Anna Carpenter. Orie passed away on January 10, 2013.
Orie spent his childhood growing up in Ukiah, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 – 1954. During that time he met his wife, lived a few years in Massachusetts before returning to his childhood home in Ukiah.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Inez, their 4 children, Cindy and husband John Heitt of Alaska, Cathy and husband Ken Edmonds of Ukiah, Laura and husband Phil Hurst of Willits, Michael and wife Denise Carpenter of Albion. 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, sister Anna Mort of Reno and brother Lyle of Utah. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers Mickey, Larry and sister Marjorie.
Private services will be held per the family’s request.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary.
