Nadine A. Carr, 92, of Redwood Valley died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Ukiah Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Kansas on October 30, 1919. She was a homemaker who loved keeping in touch with friends and family with letters and cards. She was an officer in the Women’s Auxiliary of the Carpenter’s Union and was Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Calpella Community Church. She taught Sunday School for many years.
She is survived by her children Bob (Hazel) Carr of Anderson, CA, and Ken (Sandi) Carr, Ruth Carr and Gerald (Pam) Carr of Redwood Valley; her brother Louis (Bonnie) Benback of Redwood Valley and sister Lois Sullenger of Lakeport; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband H. E. “Tom” Carr and a daughter, Imogene “Jeanne” Carr.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Eversole Mortuary. Pastor Dick Otto will officiate. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. through service time on Saturday. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Russian River Cemetery.
