Hing Kwong Chan
Funeral services for Hing Kwong Chan of Ukiah will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10 am at Eversole Mortuary. Interment will follow at Ukiah Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 12 to 8 pm at the mortuary. Following the services all are invited to a Celebration of Life dinner in San Francisco.
Hing passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 with her family by her side.
Hing was born in Canton, China on July 12, 1925. She has lived in Ukiah for the past 52 years. She owned and operated several businesses with her husband, including 2 restaurants; Pauls Rice Bowl and the Ukiah Tea Garden. She also was a member to the FAH Yuen Association in San Francisco.
Hing was a loving wife and proud mother, raising four children and of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul Chan; sons, Daniel Chan and wife Michelle residing in Sacramento, Ca; John Chan and wife Jan of Ukiah; daughters, Melissa Fong and husband John, Judy Chan and husband Ray both residing in Sacramento; sisters June Tai Hung, Hung Ya Ngai Kuang and husband Shu; Ung Tai Tsang Kuang and husband Bing Quoon, all of San Francisco, Ca; grandchildren Brian, Katie and Jenna Chan, all of Ukiah; Dylan Chan of Sacramento, Caleb Fong of Elk Grove, Ca. and Amos Fong of Los Angeles, Ca and great grandchildren Jaydon, Kyle and Tyler Chan.
A donation to ones favorite charity is preferred.
