Novies L. Coombs
Private services will be held for Novies L. Coombs of Ukiah who passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at her home with her family by her side.
Born July 12, 1937 in Texas, Novies was a homemaker and has lived in the Ukiah area for over 20 years. She enjoyed visiting with her family and grandchildren. She was most proud of raising her children with all her love. Novies will be remembered for all the times she was there for everyone who needed her help or a place to stay. And for always wearing slippers everywhere. Her favorite quote, “Give me a minute.”
Novies is survived by daughters Darla Hornsby and husband James of Nice, Lynn Smoljan and husband Nick of Alaska, son Bert Giumelli of Ukiah, grandchildren Cory Tompkins of Ukiah, Jessica Chandler of El Paso, TX, Destiny Giumelli of Ukiah, Callen Butterfield of Redding, Mike of Redwood Valley, great grandchildren Willow Ann Tompkins of Nice, Derek James Cheingler of El Paso, TX and one on the way.
