Daniel Ezra Cornforth
Memorial services are pending for Daniel Ezra Cornforth of Ukiah who passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Observatory Care Home with his family by his side.
Born December 29, 1915 in Didsbury, Canada, Daniel has resided in the Ukiah area for the past 25 years. Daniel served in WWII for 2 years and spent most of his working life as owner of Silver State Plastics in Colorado. He will be remembered for his volunteer work at UVMC, his sense of humor, positive outlook on life, friendliness and of course his famous bow ties.
Dan is survived by his daughter Ruth DeBooy of Ukiah, sons Don Cornforth of Bakersfield, CA and James Cornforth of Ft. Collins, CO, brother Joe Deters of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren Charles Cornforth of Loveland, CO, Tom Cornforth of Milliken, CO, Gina LaForge of Visalia, CA, Mike Cornforth of Port Orange, FL, Sheley Matheny of Bakersfield, CA, Ronald and Daniel Cornforth of Loveland, CO, Jonathan DeBooy of Lodi, CA, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his son Gerald Cornforth, his granddaughter Lisa DeBooy and by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Cornforth.
Memorial contributions to the Ukiah Seventh day Adventist Church Benevolence Fund are preferred.
