Obituary:
Barbara Jean Crabb, age 84, died at a local Ukiah hospital on Tuesday February 2, 2010 with her family by her side. Born in Oakland, CA, she was a resident of our area for 61 years. Barbara worked as a clerk for the Mendocino County Probation Department for 17 years and was a school Librarian for Saint Mary of the Angels Catholic church.
She was proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be remembered for her love for her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 years Robert L. Crabb, sons Richard (wife Lesa) Crabb of Ukiah, Robert (wife Pamela) Crabb of Cloverdale, grandchildren Eric (Jennifer) Crabb, Deborah (Dallas) Richey, Keith (Charette) Crabb, Arlene (Aaron) Waddington, Robert (Wendi) Crabb and 10 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Gibson and her parents Floyd and Kathleen Gibson.
A Memorial Rosary will be held on Tuesday February 9, 2010 beginning at 6 pm at The Eversole Mortuary and Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday February 10, 2010 beginning at 11 am at the Ukiah Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Ukiah Valley Medical Center, 275 Hospital Drive, Ukiah, Hospice of Ukiah, PO Box 763, Ukiah or to Saint Mary’s School, 900 S. Oak St., Ukiah.
