Obituary:
William Hamilton (Bill) Crumrine, 84, of Redwood Valley passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Ukiah Valley Medical Center with his family present. Bill was born September 26, 1927 in Covelo, Ca.
Bill was a lifelong resident of Mendocino County. He attended Covelo High School. Bill was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the Navy and then work at the City of Ukiah in the electric department. Bill married his wife Virginia on December 29, 1973.
Bill was proud of his family and his U.S. Navy career. Bill was also a member of the Coast Guard and Merchant Marines as a reserve.
Bill’s family will remember his sense of humor and his devotion to his family and friends.
Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years Virginia Crumrine of Redwood Valley, daughter Debbie Sue Crumrine of Ukiah, sons David and Darin Crumrine of Ukiah, grandchildren Kelly Ann Crumrine, Shelby Ford, Dustin, Garrett, Wyatt, Austin, Mariah, Christina, Jackson and Jasmine Crumrine and Kaila Ford, great grandchildren Jayden and Natily Ford. His parents Babe & Dave Crumrine preceded Bill in death.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Ukiah Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Military Honors.
