Darlene Aloysa Campbell-Anderson, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 29, 2024, in San Francisco, CA, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 13, 1975, in the serene town of Ukiah, CA, and lived a life filled with love, compassion, and unwavering strength.

Darlene was the cherished daughter of Ira Dominic Jr. and Patricia Ann Rabano. She was preceded in death by her father, Ira Dominic Jr.; her grandparents, Ira Dominic Sr. and Susie Marie Campbell; her beloved daughter, Honey Dove Dubois; and her precious granddaughter, Ariyah Ma:yu. Darlene’s heart was immense, and she carried the memories of her late family members with grace and dignity.

She is survived by her loving children Aloysa Michell Anderson, Leimonie Yoyan, Johnathan Abraham Dubois, Kalina Karol Campbell, and Yvonne Jewel Salazar, who will forever cherish the warmth and wisdom she imparted. Her family further extends to her dear siblings Ira Dominic III, Owen Eddy Knight, Angel Foster, Carlos, Rachel, Victor, and Carly Rabano, whom she held close to her heart. She leaves behind and abundance of beloved family members, aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends who were more like family.

Darlene graduated from the Ukiah High School, where she graduated with pride. She later pursued her dream of becoming a Certified Massage Therapist, a profession through which she touched many lives with her healing hands. Her employment history was a testament to her versatility and dedication. She worked at Walmart, served as a Gaming Commissioner at her tribe’s casino, and contributed to the Players Club, bringing joy and service to countless individuals.

The viewing will take place on October 5th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, allowing friends and family to gather and honor her memory. A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at the Coyote Valley Community Center on October 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM.

In this time of reflection, we remember Darlene as a beacon of love and resilience. Her life was a testament to enduring love and unwavering commitment to family and friends. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and valued, creating a legacy of kindness and generosity.
