Obituary:
Karl Dean Davis, loving husband, father and friend, lost his long battle with Pancreatic Cancer in his home on November 19, 2009 surrounded by his wife, family and friends. Karl was born in San Diego, California, on October 29, 1957 but he was raised in Redwood Valley, California. As a teenager, he moved to Oroville, California, where he graduated from Las Plumas High School. Karl has lived in the Ukiah area for fifty years. He worked for the City of Ukiah with the Street Department. All in all, he worked for the City for sixteen years where he made wonderful friends.
Karl and his wife, Sandra, were married in Reno, Nevada on February 6, 1999. They happily raised five children together. Karl loved spending time with his family going on vacations and cruises. He also had a love of riding his motorcycle. Karl will be remembered for his strong will, love of life, his positive attitude and his sense of humor. We will forever remember him telling us to be positive and that he feels like he is in Gods church everyday.
Karl is survived by his wife, Sandra Davis; daughters Brandy Noriega, Rachel Davis and Kristy Leon, his sons Jason Tocher and Nicholas Tocher and his parents Frank and Rose Davis. He is also survived by his six grandchildren Aliyah Davis, Tanner Howe, Madison Howe, Mariah Davis, Diego Leon and Brendon Tocher. Other special family members he is survived by are Felipe Leon, Jose Noriega, Drew Iacomini, Ernestine Mabery, Cathy and Vollie Powers and family, Misty and Joe Saracini and family and Howard and Melissa Mabery and family. Per Karls wishes, in lieu of a funeral we had a family gathering before his passing.
Karl was preceded in death by his sister Ileen Loy, his father-in-law Howard Mabery Sr., his brother Tony Morehouse, his father Kenneth Morehouse and his Grandma and Grandpa Young.
Karl and I, Sandra, were very thankful for the unbelievable outpour of prayers, generosity and support received from our family, friends and co-workers throughout these hard times.
