Private services will be held for Ben DePrue of Ukiah who passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 in Santa Rosa.
Born December 22, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ben loved to go camping and boating with his children, vacationing and spending time with his grandchildren, he coached baseball, loved playing pool for The Pub and was very active in Ukiah Host Lions Club activities.
Ben is survived by his daughters Laurie Doster, Nancy Lee and Rene DePrue, sons Wayne and Rennie DePrue, sisters Yvonne Gomes and Emily Kapule, grandchildren Joseph Saraceni, Robert Darden, Brittany Yuto, Brandon, Renelle and Katria Trailor, Robert and Allison Lee, Cheyanne and Chase DePrue, Monica and Samantha Doster, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Renet DePrue and by his wife Linda DePrue.
Memorial contributions to Ukiah Host Lions Club are preferred.
