Funeral services for Mary Diaz of Ukiah will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Eversole Mortuary. Interment will follow at Ukiah Cemetery. Mary passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.
Born September 13, 1929 in Ajo, Arizona, Mary has resided in Ukiah for the past 7 years. She was a domestic management engineer and mother who was proud of raising 9 beautiful children. She will be remembered for her homemade tortillas.
Mary is survived by her daughters Rosemary Diaz of Mesa, AZ; Margarita Bourdon of Ukiah; Eliza Thompson of Ukiah; Lupe Milligan (Larry) of Copperas Cove, TX; Norma Dunham (Michael) of Livingston, CA; sons Manuel Diaz (Carol) of Cloverdale; Daniel Diaz of Ukiah; Armando Diaz (Kelly) of Denver, CO; sisters Josefa Borboa; Dolores Salinas; grandchildren Stephanie Anmad; Stacey Diaz; Michael Whitney; Patricia Bourdon; Heather Crocker; Armando Hernandez; Anthony Hernandez; Dina Perez; Joseph Diaz; Candi Diaz; Daniel Diaz; George Diaz; Christine Dunham; Angela Dunham; Christopher Dunham; Kristen Kent; Sara Diaz; Armando Diaz and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel G. Diaz; son David Diaz; grandson Timothy Whitney; granddaughter Julia Diaz.
