Donna Marie Waddington

Donna Marie Waddington, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Ukiah. Donna was born September 24, 1943 in Palo Alto, Ca.

At the age of five Donna had Hodgkin’s lymphoma and was given 3 months to live, at 78 she had ovarian cancer that she also beat.

After high school, Donna became a registered nurse and a short time after that she married her husband of 58 years Dayle Waddington. Donna became a rancher and a homemaker.

She was proud of her breeding and showing of her registered sheep and her hand knitted sweaters. She was a member of the Jaycees, National Corriedale Association, 4H, FFA and the Mendocino Grape Growers Association. Donna won countless championship awards with her registered sheep.

Donna will always be remembered for her love of family, always smiling and positive attitude, her love for the holidays and her giving nature. Donna loved to fish with her sons and grandchildren. She did not  miss a National Finals Rodeo in the past 25 years. She never missed the chance to watch her grandchildren compete in Rodeo. Her yearly trip to their Placerville property were always looked forward to.

Donna is survived by her sons and daughter's in law Don & Jaime Waddington, Dave and Sheli Waddington, sister Pam Briggs, grandchildren Casey & Katie Waddington, Janel & Justin Kile and Kolton Waddington. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Donald & Joan Wilson and her Husband Dayle Waddington.

"Remember me with a smiles & laughter for that's the way I'll remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears then don't remember me at all."

No services will be held at this time.
