Carl Frederic Ehmann (1934-2010) Carl Ehmann died peacefully at his home of apparent heart failure in Potter Valley January 19th 2010. He was a native New Yorker but had been a resident of California for the last forty years, the previous 14 of which he spent in Potter Valley. He graduated from Brown University and Harvard Law School. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone, Africa, and worked the rest of his life for the Peace Corps and Vista. For many years he lived in San Francisco and retired to Potter Valley. He was predeceased by his wife Donna and survived by his three children, Lily, Matt and Charley as well as his grandchildren Simon, Ruby, Charlotte, August and Charley
