Ernie Piffero

Ernie Piffero a life long Redwood Valley resident passed away at his home on September 27^th 2022. Ernie was born July 12, 1930 in Ukiah.

Ernie attended and graduated from Ukiah Schools. After graduating Ernie served in the U.S. Army in Alaska from 1948 – 1951. He owned a gas distribution company, following his retirement he became a full time grape rancher. Ernie was a member of the Lions Club and also worked with the Redwood Valley Fire Dept. He loved sports, hunting but most of all his family.

Ernie was very proud  of his three children, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. They will remember his love for his children, grandkids and loving wife.

Surviving Ernie are his three children Danny and Danielle Piffero, Vicky and Bill Crawford and Ric and Michelle Piffero, grandchildren Willy, Kyler and Trevor Crawford, Lance and Brett Piffero, Calvin and Erica Piffero, great grandkids Bria and Carter Crawford, Jaylynn and Jersey Piffero, Kalani and Taysom Crawford and Addy Piffero.

Ernie was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Linda.
