Clement Maurizio Fomasi
Funeral services for Clement Maurizio Fomasi (Tilo) of Ukiah will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary followed by interment in Ukiah Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 2 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Clement passed away at his home on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 92 surrounded by his family.
Born March 1, 1923 in Sebastopol, Clement served his country in WWII in the US Navy and Merchant Marines. He has resided in Ukiah for the past 61 years, retiring from Masonite after working there for 31 years. He was proud of being a WWII veteran, being a dad, grandpa and great grandpa. He will be remembered for his big Italian heart and contagious smile and his love for his family. He loved to tell stories of being raised on the family dairy farm in Bodega and serving in the military. His favorite quote, Ti amo molto. In English, I love you very much.
Celment is survived by his wife Susan Fomasi of Ukiah, daughters Edith DiPiero of Lodi, Rose Mary McKenzie of Nebraska, Lena Britton of Ukiah, Rena Grayson of Ukiah, sons Richard Fomasi of Idaho, Fred Fomasi of Willits, grandchildren Sharon Morgan, John McKenzie, Shelli Rogers, Tammy Fitch, Lisa Crow, Darren Eubanks, Alicia Pescetti, Andre Elmore, Amie Grayson, Jonathan Fomasi, Robert DiPiero, David DiPiero, Heather Fomasi and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Clement and Ida Fomasi, wife Lavina Fomasi, son Jim Ray, granddaughter Heather Fomasi and grandson Andrew Fomasi.
