Stella L. Foutz, 94, of Ukiah passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 with her family present. Stella was born December 31, 1917 in Oklahoma; she had lived in Ukiah since 1946.
Stella worked as a Property Manager. She was a community developer, small business owner and a philanthropist.
She was involved as a Girls Campfire Leader; she enjoyed boating, hunting, traveling and shopping. Her family will remember her devotion to her family and her church and entertaining in her backyard. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Stella was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Stella is survived by her daughters Joan Foutz and Carolyn Foutz Whitmire, grandchildren Deborah Anne Davids, Phillip F. Whitmire and John M. Foutz great grandchildren Joseph X. Foutz (8) , Alexzander J. Foutz (5), Sebastian F. Whitmire (7). Stella was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Foutz and her son Calvert L. Foutz.
A celebration of life in honor of Stella Foutz will be held on Saturday, October 27 in Stella’s backyard at 197 Warren Dr. at 1:00 PM
