Dorathea Fraga
Memorial services for Dorathea Fraga of Ukiah will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary. Dorathea passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
Born January 10, 1911 in Washington DC, she was 101. Dorathea moved to Berkeley as a young girl and after graduating from UC Berkeley she started teaching in Covelo. She married Alfred Fraga in 1938 and they moved to make their home in Ukiah where they were the owners of Fraga Hardware. She was a member of Eastern Star, Presbyterian Women, Ukiah First Presbyterian Church and Cultus Club. She will be remembered for her strong support of church, family and friends.
Dorathea is survived by her daughter-in-law Patricia Fraga of Oakland, grandson Matthew Fraga and family of Clayton. She was preceded in death by husband Alfred in 1967 and son Richard in 1997.
