Frances "Darlene" Kraemer

Frances "Darlene" Kraemer went to be with the Lord on January 01, 2025 at the age of 76.

She passed peacefully at home on the ranch where she loved to spend time with her family and animals. She was preceded in death by her brother Danny Morse and grandson Benjamin Kraemer. She is survived by her husband Leland, sons Lee and Chris, daughter-in-laws Lori and Jennie, grandsons Nick and Logan, granddaughters Makayla and Jessica, and sister Norma. Darlene was born and raised in Ukiah. In her prime she was a runner, weightlifter, horse trainer, gymkhana rider and participated in a variety of other sports. Her interest in horsemanship led her to become a licensed California State Horsemen's Association judge for Horse Shows and Gymkhanas. But her real passion was caring for animals. Over the years she provided foster care or a permanent home to hundreds of cats and dogs who were in need. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and daughter. She loved her family deeply and would have moved mountains for them if she were able. She will be deeply missed. A celebration of life service will be held at Ukiah Bible Church on Saturday, January 18th at 2pm. All who knew her or her family are welcome to attend.
