Sugey Angelita Garcia Chavez of Willits, Ca. passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Sugey was born March 5, 1993 in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico.
She had lived in the area for the past nine years.
Sugey was proud of graduating from high school before her cousin Yare, with honors and getting engaged. She enjoyed cross fit, soccer, hiking, camping, Zumba, shopping and taking care of her dogs and cats. She was the cat lady.
Her family and friends will remember her always having a smile on her face, her outgoing personality, honesty, compassion and always living life to the fullest. She never held anything back. She loved her pets, valued her relationships and treated people accordingly. She would often say “I’m not afraid I was born for this…”

She is survived by her fiancé of 8 years Jose Eduardo Roman of Willits, Ca., her parents Angelita Chavez Rojas & Jose Alfredo Garcia Figueroa of Clear Lake, Ca., sister Yunuen Aglae Garcia Chavez of Lakeport, Ca., brother Cuauntemoc Garcia Chavez of Santa Clara, Ca., her beloved cat Venus, her dogs Bully (Pit-Bull) and JR. (English Bull Terrier).
A viewing will be held at Eversole Mortuary on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 1-8 PM with a Rosary at 5 PM. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 2 PM at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church.
