Obituary:
Ronald Craig Gibson, Jr., 41, passed in his sleep on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in San Jose, California.

Ron was born to Ronald Craig Gibson, Sr. and Linda Yarger, April 21, 1971 in Ukiah, CA. He graduated high school from Ukiah High School in 1989 and later joined the Air Force where he proudly served his country and was a veteran of Desert Storm.

Ron was a loving and dedicated father. He was an avid Dodgers fan and carried his passion for baseball to Little League coaching, most recently for his youngest son, Nathan. He was a walking sports encyclopedia. He was a hard worker and was proud of many of the construction sites he worked on, like rebuilding the box seats at Dodgers Stadium. As a young boy, a favorite saying of his was “Have bike, will travel.” His love of God, family and life are evident. He was an inspiration to so many.

Ron is survived by three sons: Aaron Ray Gibson, Devin Craig Gibson and Nathan Aiden Gibson. He is also survived by his loving fiancée, Michelle Cambron; his mother, Linda Yarger; his father, Ronald Gibson, Sr. and step-mother, Miki Gibson; seven siblings, Jocelyn Schmith, Kristin Schmith, Carrie Burgess, Chris Gibson, Brett Gibson, Jessica Gibson and Jason Labahn; his Nana and Papa Yarger; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 3:30pm, Eversole Mortuary, 141 Low Gap Rd., Ukiah, CA 95482. A reception will be held immediately following the services at Ukiah Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse, 599 Park Boulevard, Ukiah, CA 95482.

A Celebration of Life reception will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 12:00pm, The American Legion – Santa Clara Post 419, 958 Homestead Rd., Santa Clara, CA 95050
