William Gene Goates
Graveside services for William Gene Goates will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Ukiah Cemetery with Rev. Kimbal Pope and US Army Honor Guard presiding. Born September 24, 1920 in Dardanelle, Arkansas, William passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his home at the age of 92. William served his country in the US Army during WWII.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Vera Mae Goates of Ukiah, daughter Lola Mae Pardo of Hemet, CA, sons James Donald Goates of Silverton, OR, Leslie Dale Goates of Ukiah, Jason Eugene Goates of Ukiah, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Gene Goates.
