Obituary:
Lynda Elizabeth Griffin, 62, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her home in Ukiah with her family present. Lynda was born March 14, 1952 in Fort Bragg, Ca.
Lynda was a Fort Bragg high school graduate, and had lived for 35 years in Ukiah. She had 30 years of service with Ukiah Unified as a school bus driver.
Lynda was proud of driving 484,282 miles as a bus driver. She was most proud of driving and caring for her handicapped school children. Also creating the most pristine yard and landscapes, including a Koi pond.
Lynda donated endless amounts of clothes and shoes to Project Sanctuary from the lost and found of Ukiah Unified (after washing them).
Lynda family will always remember the love she gave. She was always willing to help. She worked hard and gave 100% at everything she did. She was the very best cook, learning mainly from her grandmother (Grammy). All of the work she put into her yard. She made flawless decorated cakes for family & friends.
Lynda is survived by her husband of 25 years Barry Griffin, daughter Deana Seeley, son Jason Seeley, parents Dino Mattiuzzo and Betty Ray, brother Louie Mattiuzzo, grandchildren Nicholas Edgar, Elizabeth Edgar and Kylah Seeley. Lynda was preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Geneva Ray and Louie and Anna Mattiuzzo.
No service will be held. Memorial donations in Lynda’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.
