Mary Jane Gutierrez
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held for Mary Jane Gutierrez of Redwood Valley on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ukiah Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary with visitation beginning at noon.
Born February 7, 1977 in Santa Rosa, Mary Jane passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Redding. She was a homemaker, loved cooking, playing softball, basketball and was a Native American Pomo Dancer. She especially loved music and dancing. She was most proud of giving birth to her sons Dominik and Kody.
Mary Jane is survived by her sons Dominik John and Kody Eugene Idica, mother Janice Nevarez, grandparents Fred and Mary Nevarez all of Redwood Valley, sisters Connie and Rachel Gutierrez of Marysville, brothers Johnny Gutierrez of Marysville and Joseph Gutierrez and wife Rachelle of Redwood Valley, Godmother LaDonna DuBois of Redwood Valley, 2 very special nephews Joseph and Gavin and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Johnny Gutierrez, grandparents Leandro and Consuelo Gutierrez and Godfather Abraham DuBois.
