Born February 9, 1946 in Oakland, California, James worked as a landscape contractor (yard doctor) and has resided in Lake County for the past 33 years. He was most proud of his daughter and his grandsons. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for family and a devilish twinkle in his eye.
James is survived by his wife Sama Hagen of Upper Lake, daughter Katie S. Hagen Radlick and husband Peter V. Radlick of Sacramento, grandsons Tyler and Kyle, sisters Kathy Brinkley of Vacaville, Virginia Millard of Seattle, WA, Patty Hlavaty of Henderson, NV and brother Hugh Hagen of Santa Fe, NM.
