Bobby, as he was called by most, worked at Ukiah Valley Association for Habilitation his entire working carrier. He started there in 1969. In 2006 UVAH celebrated their 45th year in business. Bobby attended that party which happened to be scheduled on his 57th birthday. His comment on that day was Ha ha Im older than UVAH so there! He had many interests but mostly he enjoyed watching TV, NASCAR, listening to music and building models. He loved watching and playing any kind of sports. His favorite teams were the Giants and the 49ers but he always rooted for the team who was winning the game at the time. Bobby also enjoyed animals and gardening. He was an expert at TV trivia and could tell you the names of any actor and what TV show they starred in. He also knew the names of everyone who played on any sports team: baseball, football, or basketball. He knew them ALL! Even in life, if he met you, he never forgot your face.
He participated in Special Olympics bowling, basketball and softball. Bowling was his favorite sport of all. He had many a game when he bowled over 200. He has many trophies and medals for bowling. He was very proud of each and every one of them.
Bobby leaves behind his mother Jean Hake of Willits, brothers Richard Dicky Hake and Anthony Tony Hake and Roger and his wife Leanne Hake all of Ukiah, Donald and his wife Kim Hake, Dennis and his wife Donna Hake of Red Bluff, Ca. sisters Barbara and her husband Steve Redding, Patty Hake of Ukiah, Theresa and her husband Steve Dean of Red Bluff, Ca.
