Bill Hallsted gracefully left this life on Wednesday, May 15th. He is known and will be remembered by many in the Ukiah community as a generous, kind man with a gentle humor and an unwavering commitment of service to those he encountered. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, he was trained as a Dental Technician while in the Military. Bill was a Dental Technician for over 65 years total, his 30 plus years as a prominent local Dental Technician improved the smiles and health of countless individuals. His association with the local Seventh-day Adventist Church was a source of great joy and peace for him on his life journey. He traveled to Mexico with non-profit and church based organizations to perform dentistry on the under privileged.
Bill is survived by his brother Bob and his four children Jerry, Jill, Kerry and Kelly along with many close friends also considered as family.
A memorial service will be held at the Ukiah Seventh-day Adventist Church on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
