Obituary:
Edith M. Hamrick, age 87, passed away July 10, 2011 at her home in Cloverdale, CA of natural causes. Edith was born in Benton, Arkansas on April 29, 1924. Edith was preceded by her husband, Marvin W. Hamrick, three brothers, Robert, Edward and Warren Childress. Two sisters, Gladys and Bonnie Jean. Edith is survived by a brother, Ben Childress of Redwood Valley, CA. Daughters, Delores Brush of Kettle Falls, WA, Shirley Simili and husband Joe of Cloverdale, CA., JoAnne LaGore and husband Sam of Bakersfield, CA.; Son, Lee Hamrick and wife Dianna of Sparks, NV. Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her family was the light of her life. Edith will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Russian River Cemetery 940 Low Gap Road in Ukiah, CA.
Donations are to be sent to Heartland Hospice Services, 2455 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 in memory of Edith M. Hamrick.
