Obituary:
George William Hearst of Redwood Valley passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Willow Springs Alzheimers Care Center in Redding, Ca. George was born January 31, 1930, he had lived in Redwood Valley for the past 47 years.
George was an operator with PG&E for 35 years and was a volunteer fireman. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. Georges family will remember his smile, warm personality and his passion for fun. He was a 49er fan whose favorite saying was Go Niners
George is survived by his daughter Georgia V. Tryan of Burney, Ca. son Michael R. Sparks of Loudonville, OH. sisters Norma J. Jorgenson of West Covina, Ca. and Janice Houston of Hacienda Heights, Ca. grandchildren David W. Tryan of Redding, Ca, Jason M. Tryan of Burney, Ca. and Kenneth W. Huffman of Murrieta, Ca. and five great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his father George W. Hearst, mother Vera V. Lawrence, wife Rosemary Hearst, sister Vera V. Todd and his daughter Mary E. Mason.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 12-8 pm at the Eversole Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1 pm burial will follow at the Ukiah Cemetery.
